Starportrait has been running for over twenty years. Sessions for families, couples, individuals and groups — in the 150 m² studio in Zwingen, or outside against landscape or industry. No put-on smile: I talk to you while I work, and it comes by itself.
A portrait for yourself, a couple session, a family picture, or an application photo for the next step. What you want, we talk through beforehand by phone or email.

Put your session together
Click, and the price adds up as you go — send it off at the end, no obligation. One set = 15 minutes with its own light, background and style. These prices are per session, for individuals, couples, friends, families and groups. For group photos you get the best pictures, carefully finished.
Tip: an application photo and a session combine — just click both. Clicking again deselects.
CHOOSE A SESSIONTravel from Zwingen is added to the total as a guide figure. Tip: the «lighting kit» option brings studio light to wherever you are.
Monday to Thursday between 8 am and 5 pm: 10% off.
Saturdays possible. Evening slots Monday and Thursday. Sunday only as an absolute exception, with a surcharge. Sessions on location: on request.

The price is per session, not per person — share the time with family or friends. Large family pictures at no extra charge; for group photos half the picture count applies. Heavier retouching of single images on request (CHF 10–30 per picture).
Bonus: for models, actors, musicians, artists and start-ups, the licence for your own promotion is included.
Sessions for portfolio, art and business. Not every request is a fit. If it is not, I will tell you.
Profile and application photos
A photo on your CV? In Switzerland, yes. If you have come from the UK or the US, this will feel wrong. There, a photo on a CV is discouraged — some employers discard applications that have one. In Switzerland it is the other way round: an application normally includes a portrait, and leaving it out is what stands out.
What works here: a plain background, your own clothes, and a face that looks like you on a normal working day. Not a studio smile. And if you would rather have something behind you, we can place a digital background — a window, an office, a bit of depth.
And the smile matters more than people expect. In Switzerland a portrait where someone looks open and at ease is read as someone who works well with others — that is a good part of why the photo is there at all. Getting an unforced smile in front of a camera is the difficult bit. It is also the bit I am good at: I talk to you, and it comes by itself.
In the studio in Zwingen we choose the outfit, photograph against the background you want, and place a digital one afterwards if you prefer. You get the picture digitally and retouched, large and in application size, free to use on LinkedIn and in your application documents. The same session gives you a LinkedIn photo. That one works everywhere.
